Criminal Matters:

If someone suddenly find himself in a situation facing criminal charges and have to step before a judge a criminal defence lawyer/attorney should be on his side that truly believes that you are innocent until proven guilty. As well as he will do whatever it takes in his professional power/capacity to prove innocence during trial.

I’ve worked to protect rights with an aggressive defence. Providing high quality legal services, because each case has its own unique circumstances, investigating each case diligently, looking for exculpatory evidence and identify alternative theories and avenues of defence.

Criminal defence law consists of the legal protections afforded to people who have been accused of committing a crime. Law enforcement agencies and government prosecutors have extensive resources at their disposal. Without adequate protections for the accused, the balance of power within the justice system would become skewed in favor of the government. As it is, fair treatment for criminal defendants often depends as much upon the skill of their defence attorney as it does the substantive protections contained in the law.

The legal advocate position involves providing advice, advocacy and legal representation to prisoners regarding prison legal issues. Advocacy on behalf of prisoners may involve summary advice, informal advocacy, providing written submissions and personal representation. The focus of the legal advocate is assisting prisoners charged with disciplinary offences in prisons, either in person or through summary advice.
